FAQ’s for Adult Classes
What should I wear to class?
Our adult students do not have to follow the dress code set out in the student handbook. Adults should wear comfy close fitting athletic wear (like yoga pants, joggers, moisture wicking T-shirts…). Adult students are asked to wear proper ballet technique shoes instead of socks, as socks make our floor slippery. Ballet shoes can be bought at Boulder Body Wear with a discount when you mention CSB
How do I pay for the class?
All adult classes offer monthly tuition or a drop in rate. Our tuition option offers a lower per class rate for adult students who are able to come to class weekly. Tuition is posted on the 25th of each month. Any classes that are missed are able to be made up with another adult class (ie yoga or another ballet level). For some of our adults that are not able to come as consistently, paying per class with our drop-in feature is the best option. For both tuition and drop in classes, we use Studio-Pro to handle payments.
What level should I sign up for?
After reading the class descriptions above if you believe you might be in between levels we recommend trying the lower level class first. If the class feels too easy you can always move up a level. Being in a class that is too hard can be discouraging. We always want our students to feel good and stay safe. If you still have questions please reach out to us!
